Two volumes, 8 etched illustrations, each in two states including duplicate proofs on Japan paper signed by the illustrators. 8vo (approx 9 x 6") in publisher's tan, finely grained cloth, with titles stamped in red to spine. Number 14 of 75 sets printed on Whatman's hand-made paper, from a total of 500 numbered copies. Illustrators include: Blanche Dillaye, J. Henry Hill, Stephen Parrish, Edith Loring Peirce, Henry Farrar, E. Matlack, G.D. Clements, and P. Moran. Spines cocked, cloth over spines split along rear hinge with some loss to the spine ends, corners worn. Internals fine. A scarce edition, especially in original cloth and deserving of professional restoration. Good. Item #013869
