Bound by Walker and Son, Plymouth with their binder's ticket upper left corner front pastedown. Copy owned by William Borlase, M.A. of Zenner Vicarage (died 1888), a member of the clergy with the Cornwall Unitary Authority in Cornwall, England, with his bookplate on pastedown. Shallow corner staining to prelims and title page Volume 1.Front and rear hinges revealed slightly but holding. Volume 3 has a corner stain on all leaves in the lower right corner confined to the margin, i.e. not traversing to either text or plates. 250 numbered plates, mostly tinted and double-tinted, including frontispiece portrait of Roberts, 6 tinted lithographed title-pages, 2 stone-engraved maps and 2 chromolithographs (plates 213 and 240).
