Inscribed, indecipherably, on the title page by Dawson, dated by him 4/22/93, with "Dawson Travel Copy" written on the front cover, also in his hand. Dawson (1930 - 2002) was a Beat-era author of short stories and novels, and a student at Black Mountain College. He was also a painter and collagist whose works were seen in several books of poetry and many literary magazines. Good. Item #013649
