Harburg's personal ownership copy of one of the most beloved American musicals of mid-20thC for which he co-wrote the book, along with Fred Saidy, and alone the lyrics for the songs, music by Burton Lane. With Harburg's address sticker on the ffe - "E. Y. Harburg/ 262 Central Park West/ New York 24, N. Y." and beneath it in black ink his phone numbers: "Phone SU-7-6986/ office - MU -2-3476" Most famously, Harburg wrote the lyrics to Over The Rainbow, music by Harold Arlen for which they received the Oscar for Best Song.
