Boston: Published by Herber Bishop, 1888. 2nd Edition. Hardcover. Obong 8vo, green cloth, gil titles, 1-17 (advertisements) 23 - 209 (text), 210 - 242 (advertisements). Only one map of the two called for is present, the smaller one measuring approx 8.5 x6" plus margins; the larger one is missing. Front hinge slightly shaken, and tad revealed, slight loss spine ends, corners worn. Internals quite nice. Illustrated with engravings from photographs taken by Bishop, and engraved by the Boston Engraving Company. Printed at the Press of Alfred Mudge & Son. First published in 1887, both the first and second editions of this guide-book are rare. Not in Williamson or Thompson. OCLC records only a microfiche copy of the first edition and one copy of the second edition. Very Good. Item #012991
